There once were Pokémon that
became very close to humans.
There once were humans and Pokémon
that ate together at the same table.
It was a time when there existed no
differences to distinguish the two.
The myth lies, hidden, in the worn and dust covered pages of a book that humans no longer dare seek. They do not care to remember times long past, nor truly wonder what these words might mean. Instead; they turn their minds and eyes to the modern day and an issue that has suddenly, and unexpectedly, presented itself.
Pokemorphs, beings that come from the union of a human and a pokemon, have been appearing in the past couple of decades or so; bringing the turmoil of change with them. Things are changing in the pokemon world. Where it was once socially acceptable to have children wander across the lands and compete in competitive battle; now, it is considered dangerous for people that can’t handle themselves to travel alone. Where it was perfectly alright for trainers and their pokemon to spend time together when not in a battle; now, people will form ideas and police will start to suspect them of unapproved activities.
