TO FREE HIS MIND , weapons & items: A sawed-off shotgun and a rape whistle. skills & unique traits: While she may not look like it, Kagami is quite educated in the knowledge of weapons of various kinds. Her father, a weapon dealer, hadn't wish to let his daughter roam around the area without some knowledge on how to use a weapon. When she was taught to use a weapon, Kagami would do research on it every chance she got, hence her vast knowledge on weapons. Not only that, but she has a large supply of weapons stuck in her home which usually prove to be quite useful.
An interesting, and also quite useful skill of hers, is that she's quite skilled at parkour. Also known as l'art du déplacement, or the art of moving. It is a physical discipline that trains the body to overcome any obstacle in your path by adapting your movements to the environment of whatever habitat you're currently inhabiting. Kagami had been studying the art ever since she had turned fifteen. At the time, Kagami had assumed that it'd be useful to her, which she had been proven right on many accounts. As she has aged, her mastery over the skill has improved, but hasn't been completely mastered.
companions: None, at the moment.
history: --
rp sample Don't think about it, just walk pass it and everything will be okay.
There was a scream, a thump, and then muffled crying. Kagami was used to seeing these kind of things around these parts. As if it was anything new, really. These days, sights and sounds like these were the norm. Sometimes she would even watch, just a little bit. It was fascinating in a sickening way. It was as if you were watching a train that you knew was going to end up crash into another chain, but the thing was—she just couldn't look away. The end outcome would be expected, yet satisfying at the same time. At least dying gave them a way out of this hellhole. So what if they were broken in the end? It was likely that they'd end up that way sooner or later. So, why not sooner than later? Fighting the inevitable never did anyone any good, anyways.
That's what she wanted to believe anyways.
Damn it. Kagami was well aware of the possible consequences of directly interacting with such hoodlums, so an indirect approach would be best. It was a simple plan, really. However, hopefully it would be effective enough to get a good end result. She could only hope. Without much hesitation, Kagami slowly pulled out the whisle hung around her neck and blew into it. It was a shrill, ear blasting sound. One that would have any child whimpering, wishing that it would just stop. From what she could see, the hoodlums were alarmed. They didn't stick around to find out where the noise has come from, they just ran. Good. Mission accomplished. Now she could be on her way without any worries, whatsoever.
Except not really. Anyone else in the vicinity could have heard the high-pitched whistle. It was likely that someone would come to investigate the cause of the sound. Which meant, Kagami had no choice but to take the long way home now. She was frustrated and tired and maybe, just maybe, a little bit satisfied. To be honest, Kagami hadn't really helped the poor girl who was being victimized because she had some hero-complex or really truly wished to help her—no, no. Kagami wan't some sort of saint. In actuality, Kagami did it for the sense of self-satisfaction. It wasn't as if she was any different from anyone else in the shit they called the world. In the end of it all, she was just as rotten and twisted as everyone else.
In this kind of place, there were no exceptions, after all.
And so, Kagami ran toward the path that would lead to her shady neighborhood and thus to her just as shady home. After that spectacle, she had no desire to talk to anyone, at the moment. Then again, it wasn't as if she had much desire to talk to anyone most of the time, anyways. Peace and silence was the one thing that allowed her to have time to herself. Especially after a hard day waiting for shrewd men who thought they were charming, but were really just stupid and just plain smelly. However, that was just her opinion, but Kagami had no doubt that her opinion was shared by many of her co-workers. Oh, well. All she had to do was just endure it, ignore the crimes—which she had failed to do that day—as she went on her way back home, and enjoy the limited time she was allowed to rest. It was a cycle, a routine.
The one small connection she had to normality left.
